Development of Biokinetic Model for Crude Oil Remediation using Neem-Water-Alcohol Root Extracts
Abstract: Model was developed to examine the degradation of crude oil in different soil environment using Neem roots extract subjected in fermentation for a period of one week. The Neem roots extract of 500g and 600g was used in carrying out the research work and both was extracted from fermented Neem roots in alcohol medium. The reaction mechanism was tested using first order rate constant with Neem treatment in both solvent …

Evaluation of Treatment Performance in TPH Removal from Soil: A Comparative Study of Baobab and Neem Treatments
Abstract: This study evaluates the effectiveness of Baobab (Adansonia) and Neem (Azadirachta indica) in powdered form, combined with yeast and NPK fertilizer, for the bioremediation of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) in polluted swampy and clay soils. Over an 84-day period, both treatments significantly enhanced TPH degradation, with Neem showing slightly better performance overall. In swampy soil, TPH removal ranged from 97.78% (Baobab) to 98.50% (Neem), while in clay soil, it ranged …

Green approach for the synthesis of Titanium dioxide nano particles and their characterization
Abstract: The ecofriendly and sustainable method of green synthesis of nanoparticles gained a lot of popularity these days. Azadirachta indica (neem) leaves are used in this study to identify the eco friendly synthesis of titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO 2 NPs). TiO 2 NPs can be easily and sustainably synthesized from titanium precursors using neem leaves having bioactive compounds. Green production of TiO 2 NPs is facilitated by the stabilizing and capping …

Comparative efficacy of insecticides and plant extracts to manage Bemisia tabaci (Genn.) and tomato leaf curl virus disease
Abstract: Tomato (Lycopersiconesculentum) is most important vegetable crop of Pakistan. It is attacked by many biotic and abiotic diseases. Among the viral disease tomato leaf curl virus disease (TLCVD) is most important disease that causes heavy yield losses. Under natural field conditions, TLCVD is transmitted by Bemisia tabaci. Comparative efficacy of insecticides and plant extracts to manage Bemisia tabaci (Genn.) and tomato leaf curl virus disease was studied under natural field …

Fast pyrolysis of Kaner (Thevetia peruviana) Seed to Fuel and Chemicals
Abstract: Bio-energy is now considered as having the potential to provide the major part of the projected renewable energy provisions of the future. Currently non-edible seed biomass has been considered as one of the major bio energy resource. Among the different non-edible seeds such as Jatropha, Neem, Karanja, Safflower, Pomegranate, Cherry, Mahua, Cotton etc., Kaner (Thevetia Peruviana) seed plant is a very widely available even in the tropical climate. In this …

Molecular Study of Indian Herbals at Microwave Region Using Time-domain Spectroscopy
Abstract: The dielectric properties of liquids are useful to some extent to understand the liquid structure and molecular interactions therein. The study of dielectric properties of liquid materials is necessary not only to understand the liquid structure but also to provide technical data for practical uses in industry, science, medicine, and engineering. Time-domain spectroscopy (TDS), a spectroscopicmethod used in physics uses brief terahertz radiation pulses to examine the characteristics of matter. …

Extracellular One Pot Green Synthesis of Palladium Nanoparticles
Abstract: Extracellular in-situ synthesis of metal nanoparticles using extracts of plants like Azadirachta indica (Neem), and Zingiber officinale (Ginger) has been successfully carried out earlier. In this study, we have developed a novel method to synthesize Palladium nanoparticles by the process of bio-chemical reaction between Palladium salt solution with seed extract of Coriandrum sativum without using any surfactant or external energy. By this method, physiologically stable, bio-compatible Pd nanoparticles (NPs) were …
