Low Temperature Chemical Synthesis of Nickel Oxide Microflower and Study of its Optical and Thermal Properties
Abstract: A simple rout for the synthesis of flower like nickel oxide nanostructure has been reported using nickel sulphate and potassium per-sulphate as precursor. Efforts were made to see the effect of persulfate amount on different properties of the materials thus two samples were synthesized with different amount of per-sulphate precursors. The as prepared samples were characterized by x-ray diffraction, field emission scanning and transmission electron microscope, thermal gravimetric and differential …

Has Graphene lived Up to the Hype?
Abstract: Graphene, a single or few layers of the humble graphite and consisting of carbon atoms arranged in a honeycomb lattice, is the flagbearer of revolutionary technology called nanotechnology, which deals with materials on the nanoscale (1–100 nm). It has been hailed as a “wonder material” ever since its Nobel prize-winning discovery in 2004. The theoretical study of graphene was started in 1947 by physicist Philip R. Wallace as a first …

Impact of Substrate Temperature on Chemically Deposited Cds Thin Films
Abstract: The interest for renewable energy sources are increasing day by day due to the limited availability of fossil fuel. Among all the renewable energy sources solar energy is growing interest due to its easy availability almost among all area of earth where people lives. Solar energy can be used as a source of energy by two ways: Solar Photovoltaic Cell and Solar thermal. Photovoltaic cells are the easiest way for …

Effect of Sulphamic acid on the growth of Glycine single crystals
Abstract: Sulphamic acid added glycine single crystals were grown successfully by slow-evaporation technique.A single crystal with well defined crystal was obtained. The lattice parameters and crystal system of the grown crystals were confirmed by single crystal and powder x-ray diffraction analysis. The functional groups present in the sample were identified by FTIR spectral analysis. The lower cut off wavelength and bandgap energy of the grown crystal was analysed from uv-vis spectral analysis. Keywords: …
