Kinetic and Mechanistic Study of Isomenthol Oxidation by Trichloroisocyanuric Acid in Acidic Medium
Abstract: The oxidation reaction of isomenthol with trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCICA) was systematically investigated in acidic medium to understand its kinetics, reaction mechanism, and overall reactivity. The study was carried out under pseudo-first-order conditions by maintaining a large excess of isomenthol relative to TCICA, allowing accurate determination of the reaction rate. The progress of the oxidation reaction was monitored kinetically, and the obtained data revealed that the reaction follows first-order kinetics with …

Enhancing Network Alarm Handling Efficiency: An Improved Apriori Algorithm with FCM Approach
Abstract: Network alarm systems generate large volumes of alarms, often resulting in redundant or irrelevant data that complicates efficient fault detection and resolution. This paper presents an enhanced approach to network alarm handling by integrating the Apriori algorithm with the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering method. The Apriori algorithm is used to uncover frequent alarm patterns, while FCM addresses the complexity of overlapping alarm data, enabling the association of alarms with varying …
