Application of Hengstebeck's Model in Multicomponent Crude Oil Distillation Design
Abstract: Mathematical models were developed for the analysis of the Atmospheric Crude Distillation Unit of Port Harcourt Refinery in Nigeria. The resultant system of equations was solved using the method of matrix inversion using Mathlab software and the models predicted with reasonable accuracy composition of side draws (different fractions) and temperatures. Also, the effect of process parameters on the overall performance of the unit was studied. In addition, the study applied …

ACHEIVING SUSTAINABLE BUILDING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM THROUGH NATURE INSPIRED BUILT FORMS
Abstract: In Architecture, It is apparent that every design has a concept, idea and a source of inspiration behind it. Whenever we start to design a building we take inspirations from some objects, principles or phenomena which we have observed and experienced around us. Most of the object that inspires us are naturally occurring elements which has stood the test of time and has evolvedfor thousands of years to achieve its …

A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Structured Teaching Program on Knowledge of School Phobia Among the Parents of Primary School Children at Pilani, Rajasthan
Abstract: Introduction: In the years of early childhood and elementary school his self-esteem network broadly includes teachers and peers as an important mirror. If thing are going well in the expanded network, the child will feel accepted and acceptable and this will buy him in his efforts. Whether a child or adult, we are dependent upon our relationships to provide with a sense of well-being and to support as in our …

Characterization of the Impact Strength in Cryogenic Treatment of TIG Welded Nickel-based Superalloy
Abstract: The TIG welding of the IN617 heat and oxidation resistant has been precisely controlled through welding parameters, while γ'-Ni3(Al, Ti) phases predominantly controlled solution strengthening, and precipitation strengthening and carbides in γ matrix, as well as γ' precipitate’s shearing mechanism is prominent to enhance strength of superalloys. The high hardness has been preserved owing to strengthening major elements such as Cr, Co, and Mo etc., and the well coherency maintain …

A Model for Plastic-Hydrolytic Damage Bioresorbable Polymer Composites
Abstract: This paper explains and assesses a recently developed constitutive model for elastic-damage that may sustain plastic-hydrolytic damage. When a metallic material is subjected to plastic strain, voids and microcracks in the metal matrix start to form, develop, and merge. This is what causes ductilitydegradation in metals. Only a few of the many models that have been presented to depict ductile failure have done a thorough analysis of the entire damage …

In Vitro Evaluation of Bioremediation Capacity of a Commercial Probiotic, Bacillus clausii, for Chromium (VI) and Lead (II) Toxicity
Abstract: Heavy metals cause disastrous effects on any living organisms. Probiotics have the ability to reduce metal toxicity. Commercial probiotics having bioremediation capacity can use these bacteria as an alternative to conventional remediation methods. The bioaccumulation of heavy metals including chromium (VI) (Cr [VI]) and lead (II) (Pb [II]) causes fatal toxicity in humans. Some naturally occurring bacterial species, such as Bacillus and Pseudomonas, contribute their role in bioremediation of these …
