Nano-terrorism: Shaping Indian Response to a Foreseeable Threat
Abstract: Nanotechnology is no more a fictitious topic to be discussed upon as it is very real and is marking its presence in our day to day lives, changing it substantially. Scientific advancements be it in computing, chemistry, physics or biology have been used and abused by people. From witnessing catastrophic effects of nuclear advancements which started as early as world wars wherein Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were attacked …

Studies on the Electrical Characteristics of GaN based HEMTs at the AlGaN Nano-Layer Thickness of 9 nm
Abstract: In this work, we have designed total 25 individual structures of AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs). Variations in drain current are studied with the change in drain voltage. Also, variations in drain current are studied with the change in gate voltage. Further, variations in drain current are studied with the change in aluminium mole fraction. The amount of drain current is higher in HEMT of lower gate length. This …

Synthesis of 2-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted)-1,3,4-Oxadiazole Microcrystals by Solvothermal Method and Assessment of in vitroAntibacterial with Docking and in vivo Larvicidal Efficiency with Comprehensive Toxicological Studies
Abstract: 2,5-Disubstituted 1,3,4-oxadiazole compounds are among the most beneficial organic molecules of biological importance. In the current research, a new series of 2-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted)-1,3,4-oxadiazole compounds have been synthesized solvothermally from derivatives of2,3-dichloro-N'-(substituted)benzohydrazide and Chloramine-T as an oxidizing agent using autoclave with good yield. The obtained products are micro-sized (5µm–20µm) crystals confirmed through SEM. The structures of synthesized compounds were confirmed through IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, mass Spectroscopy, Elementary analysis. Molecular docking study shows …

Effect of Nano-size Silicon Carbide (SiC) Reinforced Al 8088 Alloy in an Alkaline Medium using Static Immersion Method
Abstract: In this investigation, an strive has been made to broadenAl 8088reinforced with silicon carbide particulatenanocompositethrough liquid melt metallurgy method and to look at corrosion conduct.nanocomposite containing 2, 4 and 6 percent of SiC are preparedconsistent with ASTM requirements. Weight loss approach is carried out in 0.025N, 0.05N and 0.1N answers of KOH. The corrosion price decreases with boomin thepublicity time for all the specimens and decreases with the boom in …
