Relative Accuracy of Diagnostic Methods in Verification of Gonadal Status of Dogs Considering Anti-Mullarian Hormone as a Biomarker
Abstract: The study was carried out to demonstrate relative efficacy of various methods to ascertain gonadal status in dogs. Based on different diagnostic methods viz., history and clinical signs, physical examination and ultrasonography, 37 (21 male and 16 female) dogs were categorised into different groups. Group I- gonadectomised dogs (n=10; Male-5 Female-5), Group II - intact dogs before and after gonadectomy (n=16; Male-8 Female-8), Group III-dogs with ovarian remnant syndrome (ORS) …

BAYESIAN ANALYSIS OF BIRD OVOMUCOID: INFERRINGEVOLUTIONARY DYNAMICS AND PHYLOGENETIC RELATIONSHIPS.
Abstract: Objective: Ovomucoid is a serine protease inhibitor discovered in bird eggs that not only protects embryo but also has phylogenetic significance due to its potential usage as a molecular marker. They are glycoproteins that have antibacterial efficacy because they inhibit bacterial proteolytic enzymes that are essential for microbiological development. This study makes use of DNA sequence data to rebuild evolutionary connections among bird species. Methods: Over the past decade, the incorporation …

Effect of Varying Levels of High-Quality Cassava Peels on Broiler Finisher Growth and Hematological Indices
Abstract: In a completely randomized design, 150 three-week-old Abor Acre broiler birds were randomly assigned into five nutritional treatments, and each nutritional treatment was administered to thirty birds replicated three times, with ten birds each. The birds were fed for 21 days. High-quality cassava peel replaced 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of maize in the five treatment diets T1, T2, T3, T4, and T5, respectively. Body changes were recorded weekly, …

UNDERSTANDING NIPAH VIRUS INFECTION: ACOMPREHENSIVE OVERVIEW
Abstract: Nipah virus (NiV) infection is a zoonotic disease caused by the Nipah virus, primarily found in bats of the Pteropus genus. Since its identification in 1999 during an outbreak in Malaysia, NiV has emerged as a significant public health concern, particularly in Southeast Asia. This abstract provides a comprehensive overview of Nipah virus infection, covering its epidemiology, transmission, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and global health implications. Epidemiology: Nipah virus …

IOT-enabled Anti-poaching System for Protecting Wildlife and Forests Through Advanced Monitoring and Alert Mechanisms
Abstract: Forests are essential for preserving the intricate ecological harmony of our planet, serving as critical habitats for numerous animal species. Unfortunately, this equilibrium is increasingly jeopardized not only by illegal logging but also by the scourge of animal poaching the global demand for exotic animal parts and products fuels poaching, which presents a major menace to wildlife populations across the globe. The repercussions of poaching extend far beyond individual animals. …
