Abstract: Médecins Sans Frontières recently released a comprehensive report on mental health in Kashmir: it concluded that half of all residents of the valley have "mental health problems". The report found that nearly 1.8 million adults (45%) of Kashmir's adult population—suffer from some form of mental distress. A majority (93%) have experienced conflict-related trauma.
