Nanomaterials via Green Synthesis: Insights into Biocompatibility and Biotechnological Applications
Abstract: This review critically examines recent advances in the green synthesis of nanomaterials (NMs) and their diverse biological applications, with a focus on antimicrobial, antioxidant, anticancer, and anti-inflammatory properties. The reviewed studies evaluated key characteristics of green-synthesized NMs, including their size, shape, and concentrations, as assessed in both in vitro and in vivo biological models. Compared to traditional chemical methods, green synthesis demonstrated superior efficacy, enhanced biocompatibility, and reduced toxicity. For …

Synthesis and Applications of ACNT-MoS2 Nanocomposite: A Review
Abstract: Recently amorphous carbon nanotube and their nanocomposites are most influenced research topic in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Due to the presence of dangling bond in amorphous carbon nanotube, it is easily reacting with other nanomaterial to form into nanocomposites. For the beautiful electronic, physical and chemical properties of MoS2 nanosheets, ACNT-MoS2 nanocomposites are very much interested. Here in this paper, synthesis procedure of amorphous carbon nanotube-molybdenum disulphide nanocomposite …

Desizing of Cotton Fabrics With Enzymes for Improved Performance
Abstract: Desizing of cotton substrates with Amylase enzymes has been practiced since long time and is commercially successful. Amylases convert the water insoluble starches, used during sizing operation for enhancing the performance of the warp yarns, into water soluble products which are removed during subsequent washing. The use of enzymes for desizing is quite safe for the cotton substrates and do not cause any detrimental effect on the cotton cellulose unlike …
