Role of Human Carboxylesterase’s in Xenobiotics Metabolism
Abstract: According to one definition, xenobiotics are alien compounds that interfere with an organism's natural metabolism. Many xenobiotics can have a number of harmful effects if they don't have metabolism. There are several phase 1 metabolizing enzymes of xenobiotics which have capability to detoxify the toxic compounds. Several important metabolic detoxication enzymes are presented, including the mammalian microsomal cytochrome Carboxylesterases. Mammalian carboxyleterases are key enzymes from the serine hydrolase enzyme. Carboxylesterases …

Therapeutic Potential of Medicinal Pteridophytes in the Doon Valley
Abstract: The Doon Valley, nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, is ecologically rich and biologically diverse. This region, encompassing Dehradun, Mussoorie, and Chakrata, harbors a significant variety of medicinal pteridophytes used in ethnomedicine. These plants, thriving in the region’s subtropical to temperate climate, are integral to traditional healing practices and modern pharmacological applications. A total of 28 medicinal pteridophyte species were identified in this study, each with unique …

Pteridophytes as a Source of Traditional Medicine and Environmental Remediation: A Comprehensive Review
Abstract: The Himalayas, one of the worlds’ most important biodiversity hotspots, contribute substantially to the vegetational resources of the Indian subcontinent, with the Garhwal Himalaya standing out for its rich and diverse flora. Among the plant species in this region, pteridophytes, particularly ferns, hold notable economic and medicinal value. These plants have long been integral to traditional medicine systems, such as Ayurveda, and their therapeutic properties have been passed down through …

The Impact of Phytohormones on Human Metabolism and Wellbeing
Abstract: Phytohormones, or plant hormones, are vital organic compounds that regulate plant growth, development, and environmental responses. Recent research has shown that phytohormones like auxins, cytokinin, gibberellins, abscisic acid (ABA), ethylene, brassinosteroids, jasmonates, and salicylic acid may also positively impact human metabolism and overall health. Humans are exposed to these hormones primarily through the consumption of fruits, vegetables, and grains, and emerging studies suggest they may influence human metabolic pathways. This …

Phytoremediation of Lead by Brassica juncea and Vetiver zizanioidus
Abstract: The engineering-based remediation technologies of heavy metals from contaminated soil are time consuming, expensive, and create noise to the environment. Accumulation of heavy metals such as Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr, and Ni is destructive to not only plants and animals but also to complete ecosystem. Lead contamination keeps on increasing day by day from industrial waste, paints, ceramics, use of biosolids, and many more. Metals cannot easily degrade, so effective …

Schemes of Trace Selenium Nanoparticles on Earth
Abstract: This article is written about resources of selenium compatible with dosage-wise recovery from nature. Selenium (Se) above trace is toxic to human beings. The plant is the source of Se based on differential stages in botanical ethics from various parts of plants. Selenium found in nature as selenite, selenite, selenides, and seleno-proteins in plants. Se nanospheres related to a size considered as of importance in industry and biology acts. Antimicrobial …
