Synthesis, computational analysis and biological evaluation of novel thiazolidinone derivatives
Abstract: Through multicomponent methods including 2-chloroquinoline-3-carbaldehyde,(1- methylpiperidin-4-yl) methanamine and thioglycolic acid, the work focuses on creating and assessing the antibacterial characteristics of a new 4-thiazolidinone heterocyclic. Spectral testing was used to validate the molecules' structures. All the compounds were screened for their antibacterial and antifungal activity using Agar-well diffusion; compared to the reference drugs such as Ampicillin, Ciprofloxacin, and Griseofulvin, the examined compounds demonstrated moderate to good efficacy, with inhibition zone …

Study of the Effect of SLS Loading on the One-Pot Synthesis of Substituted Piperidines
Abstract: Piperidine derivatives represent a vital class of nitrogen-containing heterocycles with extensive pharmacological and industrial significance. Their synthesis has garnered considerable interest due to their presence in numerous bioactive molecules, including drugs with CNS activity, analgesic properties, and antimicrobial effects. Traditional multi-step synthetic pathways are often time-consuming and resource-intensive. To address this, one-pot multicomponent reactions (MCRs) have emerged as an efficient and eco-friendly alternative, allowing for the rapid construction of complex …

One-Pot Multicomponent Reactions: A Versatile Approach for Heterocyclic Compound Synthesis
Abstract: Multicomponent reactions (MCRs) represent an efficient and versatile approach in organic synthesis, enabling the formation of complex molecules through a single, one-pot procedure. This methodology is particularly advantageous for the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds that are prevalent in numerous biologically active molecules and pharmaceuticals. The one-pot nature of MCRs allows for the simultaneous combination of three or more reactants, leading to high atom economy, reduced reaction times, and minimized purification …
