Topical Application of Grape Seed Oil and Linalool, and Treating the Mulberry Leaves with Aqueous Solution of Drakshsava Before Feeding the Fifth Instars of Silkworm, Bombyx mori (L), for Qualitative Silk Cocoons.
Abstract: Nutrition quality and health of larval-instars exert influence on silk-yield-quality. Ten microliters of Acetone- solutions of Grape-Seed-Oil (10 ml Grape-Seed-Oil dissolved in 90 ml acetone) and acetone solutions of Linalool (100 ppm) were used separately in present attempt for the topical application to the fifth instar larval stages of silkworm, Bombyx mori (L). Group of larvae fed Mulberry-leaves treated with aqueous solution Drakshasav; group of larvae topically applied with acetone …

Comparative Analysis of Essential Oil Composition and Antioxidant Activity in Carissa carandas L. Fruits from Diverse Indian Regions Using GC-MS Metabolomics
Abstract: Essential oils of Carissa carandas fruits collected from six different regions in India characterized by diverse climatic conditions were investigated for their chemical composition, oil yield diversity and antioxidant activity. The lowest (0.08%) and the highest (19.32%) of each compound in essential oils were demonstrated in fruit samples from Dehradun and Rajasthan, respectively. GC-MS based analysis identified 33 compounds. The main components were limonene, β-myrcene, γ-terpinene, β-linalool, terpinen-4-ol, eugenol, β-element, …

Imminent Bioperspectives of Aromatic Plant Leaf Extracts from Cinnamomum tamala and its Biopesticidal Potential against Tribolium castaneum (Herbst.)
Abstract: present research work concluded that when the C. tamala leaf extract of five various solvents revealed that acetone extract possessed potential biopesticidal efficiency because it contains the cinnamaldehyde and linalool like compounds present in the same extract. Totally eleven compounds are elucidated from the leaf (acetone extract) through a GCMS analysis. It was almost conformed that these two aldehyde and aromatic carboxylic acid groups were presented in the acetone extract …
