Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) Based Smartphone Charging System
Abstract: Our lives are being profoundly affected by mobile phones, which we should always have with us. The risk for chronic exposure to cell phones is a more contemporary health concern associated with commonplace technology. Every cell phone produces considerable electromagnetic radiation (EMR). Even more can be done to transform the rays into energy, which can then be sent straight to the charger. The idea of transforming EMR into power is …

Plasmonic Devices for Electromagnetic Wave Concentration
Abstract: The EOT effect is enhanced by the concentration of EM waves. We explored optical transmission through arrays of nanohole pairs and found that the EOT effect through subwavelength nanoholes is enhanced by the confinement of electric field, and that the transmission is substantially higher than predicted. The optical transmission capabilities of arrays of isolated nanohole pairs and bridging nanohole pairs in gold with various geometrical configurations were explored and investigated …

A Brief Review on Induction heating
Abstract: Induction heating is the method of heating an electrically conducting material (usually a metal) by electromagnetic induction, through eddy currents generating heat in the object. An induction heater is an electromagnet and an electronic oscillator that passes through the electromagnet through a high-frequency alternating current (AC). The rapidly alternating magnetic field penetrates the artifact, producing the conductor's electrical currents called eddy currents. The eddy currents flow through Joule heating through …
