Biofertilizers: A Review
Abstract: One of the significant in today's world is the pollution and contamination of soil. The utilization of chemical fertilizers and pesticides has caused gigantic harm to the environment. An answer to this is the biofertilizer, an Eco Friendly fertilizer now used in most countries. Biofertilizers are organisms that enrich the nutrient quality of soil. The main sources of biofertilizers are bacteria, fungi, and Cyanobacteria (blue-green algae). The most marked relationship …

Isolation and Characterization of Rhizosphere-Competent Indigenous Phosphate-Solubilizing Bacteria for Biofertilizer Applications
Abstract: Phosphorus (P) is an essential nutrient for crop growth and development. Low levels of P in soil is due to high reactivity of soluble P with calcium (Ca), iron (Fe) or aluminum (Al) that lead to P precipitation. Mineral phosphate (P) solubilization is an important activity of rhizospheric bacteria that contribute significantly to the plant growth and development in eco-friendly manner. Four potent phosphate solubilizers (PSB-2, PSB-3, PSB-4 and PSB-7), …

Bio-Fertilizer in Forest Nursery-A Review
Abstract: Many micro-organisms like bacteria, fungi, algae possess plant growth promoting mechanisms. These micro-organisms may be implemented as biofertilizers in agriculture and forestry, improving crop yields. These Biofertilizers can enhance plant increase through numerous different mechanisms. The synthesis of plant nutrients or phytohormones, which may be absorbed with the aid of using plants, mobilization of soil compounds, making them to be available for the plant for use as nutrients, the safety …

Preparation, Process, and Significance of-fertilizers
Abstract: The application of chemical fertilizers (such as calcium nitrate, urea, ammonium sulfate, diammonium phosphate, etc.) is crucial to the world's food production because it acts as a fast food for plants, accelerating their growth and efficiency. However, because of the excessive and unbalanced use of these synthetic inputs, negative effects are being observed. Beneficial microorganisms found in biofertilizers provide a sustainable substitute for chemical fertilizers, tackling the mounting worries about …

Identifying, Developing, and Moving Sustainable Communities Through Application of Bioenergy for Energy or Materials: Future Perspective Through Energy Efficiency
Abstract: The demand for energy continued to outstrip supply and necessitated the development of biomass option. Residues were the most popular forms of renewable energy and currently biofuel production became much promising. Agricultural wastes contained high moisture content and could be decomposed easily by microbes. Agricultural wastes were abundantly available globally and could be converted to energy and useful chemicals by a number of micro-organisms. Compost or biofertiliser could be produced …

Advances in Agrochemistry for Sustainable Crop and Soil Management
Abstract: Agrochemistry plays a pivotal role in ensuring sustainable crop production and long-term soil health in the face of increasing global food demand, climate change, and environmental degradation. Conventional agricultural practices, characterized by excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, have led to soil nutrient imbalance, reduced microbial diversity, and environmental contamination. In response to these challenges, recent advances in agrochemistry have focused on developing sustainable and environmentally friendly approaches for …

Analysis of Viability Index and Growth of Regenerated Cyanobacteria Following Long-Term Preservation in Calcium Alginate Beads
Abstract: Samples were collected from Nagaon and Dhemaji districts of Assam differing significantly in pH and temperature for cyanobacterial isolation. Isolates were partially characterized, and pure cultures of the isolates were immobilized for preservation. Thirty two cyanobacterial strains were isolated from 13 different soil and water samples. Nostoc was the most abundant genus in the collection (42%). This was followed by Anabaena (22%), Fischerella (19%), Synechococcus (6%), and Calothrix (5%). For …

Phosphate Solubilizing Microbes: Sustainable Approach for Managing Phosphorus Deficiency in Agricultural Soils
Abstract: As compared to many other major nutrients, phosphorus is by far the least mobile and accessible to plants in almost all type of soil conditions. Phosphorus occurs in abundant quantity in soils in both organic and inorganic forms; still it is frequently a prime limiting factor for plant growth. The bioavailability of inorganic phosphorus in the soil rhizosphere varies with factors that include: type of plant species, nutritional status of …
