Ultrasonic Study of Binary Liquid Mixtures of Triethyl Amine With Primary Alcohols at 303.15 K
Abstract: Most of the physical properties change whenever there is a change in the composition and structure of the liquid mixture. Then non-linear dependence of the physical–chemical properties with composition has been attributed to the size, shape, and polarity of the molecules. Ultrasonic velocity is one such property which is very important for the study of molecular interactions in solution. It gives information about the extent of interaction and some other …

The Improvement of Polyvinyl Chloride Synthesis Using Different Approaches
Abstract: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is produced by the polymerization of the vinyl chloride monomer either by direct chlorination of olefins or by addition of hydrogen chloride to acetylene. The polymerization conditions are: heat, peroxides or oxidizing agents with basic structure as -CH2CHCl.CHCl-CH2.CHCl-. Polyvinyl chloride is a thermoplastic and its plasticity can be increased by incorporating ‘plasticizers’ of relatively low molecular weight organic materials during molding or extrusion. PVC has high hardness …

Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Study of Chitosan-Schiff Base Manganese Complex
Abstract: Schiff base is the condensation product formed when a primary amine reacts with a carbonyl compound. The term Schiff base is normally applied to those compounds when they are being used as ligands to form coordination complexes with metal ions. Its formation takes place under acid or base catalysis or with heat. Vanillin Schiff base and Aspartic acid-Salicylaldehyde Schiff bases have been synthesised bycondensation reaction. The synthesized ligands were mixed …

Investigation on Stability Analysis of Polanga oil Methyl Ester
Abstract: Biodiesel is a renewable alternative fuel and consists of mono-alkyl esters of the fatty acids. One of the major technical problems associated with the biodiesel is its storage stability and susceptibility to oxidation because of its chemical nature. This nature of the biodiesel is due to unsaturated fatty acid chains in its molecular structure. Also, the presence of the double bond in the molecule of the biodiesel produces a high …
