Biochemical Pathways in the Biosynthesis of Pharmacologically Active Secondary Phytometabolites
Abstract: Plants are the main storage house of most food products, medicines, and nutritional supplements that exist. There are basically two kinds of phytochemicals in plants: these include primary and secondary metabolites. Primary metabolites play a crucial role in the biological functioning of plants because they play a major role in the processes of mitosis, respiration, metabolism, growth, and reproduction. Secondary metabolites are not just mere by-products of primary metabolism in …

Revolutionizing Bone Grafting: A Survey of 3D Printed Solutions
Abstract: Due to the limits of conventional grafts, large bone deficiencies resulting from illness or trauma continue to be a significant clinical challenge. Autografts, while osteoconductive and osteoinductive, are limited by donor availability and morbidity, and allografts/xenografts carry risks of immune rejection and disease transmission. In contrast, 3D printing (additive manufacturing) enables fabrication of patient-specific bone scaffolds with controlled architecture, composition, and bioactivity. Using techniques, like selective laser sintering (SLS), stereolithography …

The Economical Managements Model of Corrosion Protection of Materials
Abstract: Corrosion affects many sectors, including industries, railways, transportation systems, marine environments, construction, housing components, engineering tools, metallic structures, and even biomedical implants. Due to corrosion, major financial losses occur in these fields. Corrosion takes place because of changes in the internal morphology of materials, or the attack of corrosive substances present in the environment. These unfavorable physical, chemical, and biochemical reactions lead to various forms of corrosion such as galvanic …

Experimental Investigation of the Influence of Coarse Aggregate Size and their Proportioning on the M30 Concrete for CC Pavement
Abstract: Abstract The nominal maximum size (NMS) and proportion of coarse aggregates significantly influence the mechanical properties and performance of cement concrete pavements. While extensive research has focused on concrete mix design, the combined effect of coarse aggregate size and aggregate proportioning on the compressive strength of pavement-grade concrete remains inadequately understood. This study experimentally investigates the influence of coarse aggregate characteristics on the compressive strength of M30 grade concrete. Two …

Integrating 3D Printing Technology in Sustainable Interior Design forEnhanced Human Comfort and Environmental Stewardship
Abstract: As people spend nearly 70% of their time indoors, the quality of interior environments has a significant impact on human comfort, health, and overall well-being. Many indoor spaces are negatively affected by pollutants and toxins originating from construction materials, furnishings, surface finishes, and inadequate ventilation, often contributing to issues such as Sick Building Syndrome (SBS). Enhancing indoor environmental quality (IEQ) has therefore become a critical concern within sustainable design. This …
