RECENT DEVELOPMENTS ON VOLATILE DEEP EUTECTIC SOLVENTS FOR APPLICATION IN CRYSTALLIZATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOUNDS.
Abstract: Crystallization is one of the most effective separations and purification methods used in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries. Volatile organic solvents are widely used in the crystallization of pharmaceutical compounds. Some properties of these solvents such as volatility, instability, combustibility, unpredictable nature, and toxicity are undesirable. In therecent years solvents known as ionic liquids and deepeutectic solvents (DES) derived from ionic liquidsgain importance due to the interesting properties as solvents. …

Extraction,Characterization and Optimization of pectin from Banana peel by using Acid Extraction
Abstract: This paper basically focused on the production of pectin from banana peel, an agricultural waste. The production process used in this work was raw material collection from Hawassa City, and characterizing the raw material for its physic-chemical composition. The raw material was prepared and grinded to a averageparticle size of 0.25mm after drying at a constant temperature of 600C. The extraction of oil from the banana peel was conducted using …

Greener ways of synthesizing Styrene oxide
Abstract: Styrene oxide is a key intermediate used in the fragrance, flavour, polymer and pharmaceutical industries, basically synthesized through processes such as epoxidation followed by distillation. These methods generate effluents that give rise to significant environmental challenges and rendering large-scale commercial production non-viable. The urgency for a greener and more economically viable synthesis routes has given rise to the exploration of alternative methods that produces lesser effluent generation. Enzymatic synthesis offers …

Theoretical Insights Into Structure, Electronic Properties, and Ion-pair Interactions In Organopalladium Salts [Pd(p-XC6H3CHMeNH2) (tmeda)] [BF4] AND [Pd(p-XC6H3CHMeNH2) (tmeda)] [PF6] (X = H, F, Me)
Abstract: The geometries of organopalladium salts [Pd(p-XC6H3CHMeNH2) (tmeda)] [BF4] and [Pd(pXC6H3CHMeNH2) (tmeda)] [PF6] (X = H, F, Me) (I-VI) have been optimized using BP86 and TPSS density functional at dispersion corrected DFT-D3(BJ) method. The optimized geometries of the salt [Pd(C6H4CHMeNH2) (tmeda)] [BF4] using TPSS functional in methanol slvent is in good agreement with available experimental data. The N1-Ha bond distances are longer than the N1-Hb bonds. The counterion strongly affects the …

In Vitro Evaluation of Bioremediation Capacity of a Commercial Probiotic, Bacillus clausii, for Chromium (VI) and Lead (II) Toxicity
Abstract: Heavy metals cause disastrous effects on any living organisms. Probiotics have the ability to reduce metal toxicity. Commercial probiotics having bioremediation capacity can use these bacteria as an alternative to conventional remediation methods. The bioaccumulation of heavy metals including chromium (VI) (Cr [VI]) and lead (II) (Pb [II]) causes fatal toxicity in humans. Some naturally occurring bacterial species, such as Bacillus and Pseudomonas, contribute their role in bioremediation of these …
