A Review on Bacterial Foraging Optimization
Abstract: Bacterial foraging optimization algorithm (BFOA) is based on the social and cooperative behaviour found in nature. Bacteria look for nutrients in nature in an optimized manner such that it improves its nutrient level as well as it also helps other bacteria to find the nutrient by attracting them towards the food bacteria are looking for nutrients so that the energy extracted per unit time is maximized. Through sending signals, individual …

Expedition to Nanosynthesis: A Review
Abstract: Semiconducting metal oxide (like SnO2, ZnO, Ga2O3, Co3O4,TiO2, WO3, etc.) based gas sensors are widely used for the detection of the gases like H2, CO, Nox, CH4 and other hydrocarbons due to its smaller particle size as well as higher surface to volume ratio. Presently several nanoforms of metal oxides like rods, combs, rings, springs, wires, belts, propellers are becoming popular in the field of optoelectronics, ultra-sensitive nanosized gas sensors, …

Synthesis of 2-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted)-1,3,4-Oxadiazole Microcrystals by Solvothermal Method and Assessment of in vitroAntibacterial with Docking and in vivo Larvicidal Efficiency with Comprehensive Toxicological Studies
Abstract: 2,5-Disubstituted 1,3,4-oxadiazole compounds are among the most beneficial organic molecules of biological importance. In the current research, a new series of 2-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted)-1,3,4-oxadiazole compounds have been synthesized solvothermally from derivatives of2,3-dichloro-N'-(substituted)benzohydrazide and Chloramine-T as an oxidizing agent using autoclave with good yield. The obtained products are micro-sized (5µm–20µm) crystals confirmed through SEM. The structures of synthesized compounds were confirmed through IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, mass Spectroscopy, Elementary analysis. Molecular docking study shows …

The Influence of Hexanol and Methyl Acetate as Oxygenated Additives with Diesel Fuel in a Diesel Engine Generator
Abstract: Diesel engines play a vital role in all the major sectors (such as transportation and industrial) due to their high efficiency, durability, reliability and low operating cost. At the same time, they are considered as one of the biggest contributors of environmental pollution by releasing enormous amount of toxic gases to atmosphere (such as NOx, HC, CO2 and PM). Emissions from transport, especially motor vehicles, increase the level of gases …

Production of Composite Biodiesel from Pongamia & Simarouba oil and Comparison of Performance of Composite Biodiesel with Diesel
Abstract: Pongamia oil and simarouba oil are mixed in equal volume to prepare the composite oil. The composite oil is processed through two stage transesterification process to produce composite biodiesel. The composite biodiesel blends are prepared by mixing neat biodiesel with diesel by 5%, 10% and 20% volume respectively. The engine control factors viz., injection pressure, injection timing and fuel preheating temperature are considered for evaluating the performance of composite biodiesel …
