The Biomechanical Impact of Slipper Sole Compliance on Lumbar Spine Load: A Quantitative Analysis of Indoor Footwear Ergonomics
Abstract: Abstract The global shift toward remote work has significantly increased the duration of indoor footwear usage, yet the ergonomic standards for slippers remain critically under-researched compared to athletic or industrial footwear. While "high-compliance" or soft slippers are traditionally marketed for immediate comfort, excessive mechanical softness may lead to foot instability, altered gait kinetics, and subsequent compensatory stress on the lumbar spine. This study aims to quantify the correlation between varying …

IoT-Based Fault Detection in Distribution Lines
Abstract: Quickly detecting and pinpointing failures in electrical distribution lines are important for shortening the duration of service interruption, reducing maintenance costs and increasing safety. In this work, we propose a realistic architecture for an Internet-of-Things (IoT)-enabled fault detection system designed for distribution networks. In order to continually assess electrical characteristics including voltage, current, frequency, temperature, and line status, the suggested architecture combines inexpensive, dispersed sensor nodes placed along feeders and …

Psychological Impacts of Built Environments in Varied Office Types: A Survey–Literature Comparative Analysis
Abstract: Modern workplaces are no longer just places to sit and work – they are environments that shape how people think, feel, and perform every single day. A well-designed office can energize, calm, or motivate its users, while a poorly designed one can quietly drain their focus and well-being. This study examines how lighting, ventilation, acoustics, privacy, greenery, and spatial layout influence the psychological experience of office users. Insights from 20 …

Reactivity of Niobium(V) ComplexTowards Hydroxamate Ligands
Abstract: A niobium(V) complex with the composition [NbCl(OC₆H₄CH(CH₃)₂-2)₄] was synthesized by reacting niobium pentachloride with four equivalents of 2-isopropylphenol in carbon tetrachloride as a solvent, yielding the product in good quantity. The complex was characterized using elemental analysis, molar conductance measurements, IR spectroscopy, ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. Spectroscopic results indicate that the complex exists in a dimeric form, with bridging occurring through isopropylphenoxo ligands. X-ray diffraction analysis …

Liquid Architecture: Cultural Narratives, Spatial Metaphors, and the Evolution of Fluid Form
Abstract: Liquid architecture represents a fundamental rethinking of architectural space, moving away from the long-standing assumption that buildings must be static, permanent, and formally fixed. Rather than understanding architecture as an object defined by rigid boundaries and stable geometry, liquid architecture proposes space as a fluid condition shaped by movement, atmosphere, perception, and cultural meaning. Rooted in cultural theory, phenomenology, and spatial anthropology, this approach views architecture as an evolving narrative …
