Impact of External Contextual Factors on Construction Project Performance
Abstract: The construction industry is inherently complex, influenced by a myriad of external contextualized factors that impact project performance. Based on a thorough analysis provided in the paper, this abstract offers a thorough summary of these factors. The study categorizes external contextualized factors into four main dimensions: cost, time, scope, and dominant area of influence. Factors, such as “Availability of workforce/material/equipment,” “Land Acquisition,” “Government Policy Changes,” and “Legal disputes between Project …

A Comparative Study to Assess the Knowledge Regarding Drug Abuse and its Impact on Health Between Urban and Rural Adolescents in Selected High Schools of Gokak Taluk with a View to Develop an Information Booklet
Abstract: Background of the Study: Adolescence represents a crucial and dynamic stage in the human life cycle. Roughly 18–20% of the Indian population falls within the age range of 10–20 years. This demographic, comprising future citizens, faces a significant vulnerability to early initiation into drugs and other psychoactive substances. INFLUENCE OF CONSTANT AND VARIABLE PASTERNAK FOUNDATIONS ON DAMPED SIMPLY SUPPORTED BERNOULLI-EULER BEAM UNDER MOVING LOADS
Abstract: This study presents an analytical investigation of the dynamic behavior of a simply supported uniform Bernoulli-Euler beam resting on both constant and variable Pasternak foundations subjected to concentrated moving load with damping. The governing equations of motion were formulated by incorporating the effects of foundation stiffness, shear interaction, damping, and load inertia. Analytical solutions were obtained for both moving-force and moving-mass problems. For the constant foundation case, the Generalized Finite …
