Designing of Circular Patch Dual-Band Antenna for L- Band Applications
Abstract: ABSTRACTIn this paper, a circular patch with symmetric rectangular slots is presented. This circular patch is operating on dual frequencies 1.63 GHz and 1.93 GHz which is significant frequencies for various L-band applications. Implemented stub lines between the circular patch played a vital role in reducing the size of the antenna and the parameters as compared to other available antenna at the same frequency of operation. -10dB band width of …

A Multiband Ultra Wideband Antenna for Wireless Applications
Abstract: ABSTRACTThis paper proposes a compact and low-priced antenna that operates in Ultra Wide Band (UWB) at X-band and C-band for short-range communication applications. The frequency band ranging 3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz is allocated to ultra-wideband. The values of VSWR and return loss for this antenna are less than 1.5 and -10db respectively. The L shaped slot create a band at 10.022 GHz and the ring-shaped patch create bands at …

Performance Enhancement of Mobile WiMAX using TimeFrequency Training OFDM Scheme
Abstract: ABSTRACT Mobile WiMAX, IEEE 802.16 m is a Wireless Metropolitan Area Network offering a mobile broadband internet service. It uses cyclic prefix OFDMA (CP-OFDMA) as a multiple access scheme. CP-OFDMA embeds a large number of pilot subcarriers in OFDMA symbol for channel estimation purpose, reducing the data rate and spectral efficiency of mobile WiMAX system. This paper suggests the application of time-frequency training OFDM (TFT –OFDM) as a modulation and …

Microcontroller Driven GPS Clock
Abstract: ABSTRACTGPS satellites (and now GNSS also) generally include more than three (or four) atomic clocks which are monitored and controlled for being highly synchronized and traceable to coordinated universal time as national and international standards. Thus for synchronization of time, the GPS signal is first received, then processedwith help of a“local master clock”, time server, or primary reference, and passed on to "slaves" or other devices such that their "local …

A Novel Design for Dual-Wideband Bandpass Filter for WLAN and Wi-Fi Applications
Abstract: ABSTRACTThis paper proposes a second order dual-band bandpass filter using two half wavelength stepped impedance resonators to operate at Wi-Fi frequencies of 2.45 GHz and 5.45 GHz having bandwidths of 560 MHz and 470 MHz respectively. Increased coupling is achieved with the use of ground slots below the coupled line section. Keywords: dual-band, stepped impedance resonator, bandpass filter, ground slots, Wi-Fi, WLANCite this Article: Aunsh Bandivadekar, Bhairavi Rege, Kishan Agarwal, Ganesh …
