Effect of Environmental Parameters on Corrosion of Metal Steel in Stagnant Fresh Water Using Finite Element Approach
Abstract: Corrosion as the determination or destruction of metal due to the reaction with it environment has posed a large amount of threat to industrial plants, human, increased cost of maintenance of plant and like cause injury to human due to accident in work place. This work studies the effect of environmental parameters of corrosion of three types of steel, Cast iron, mild steel and stainless steel in stagnant water media …

Life Origin on Earth, Knowledge Development
Abstract: An enigmatic and important feature of life origin on Earth is embodied with a number of different hypotheses and knowledge based on experimental data and biomedical principles. These hypotheses and understanding generally contain some small-scale experimental simulation, chemical structure comparisons and a series of guesswork from existing biological knowledge and principles. So far, there is no widely agreement of single hypothesis without significant arguments and conflicts between researchers of different …

Surface-Driven Capillary Flow of Dyed Ethanol in a Single SU-8 based Microchannel Bend Fabricated on Glass
Abstract: In this experimental work, a single SU-8 based microchannel bend is fabricated on glass by maskless lithography and indirect bonding technique. Dyed ethanol is prepared as working liquid by mixing commercially available food dye with ethanol. Surface-driven capillary flow of dyed ethanol in streamline motion is recorded by a CMOS camera catching 25 frames per second with a corresponding time-scale resolution of 0.04 second. Effect of centrifugal force on surface-driven …

Prediction of Step Input Response on Pneumatic Proportional Derivative Controller. The Concept of Transfer Functions
Abstract: Computer programme language of MATLAB software was used to monitor, predict and simulated the characteristics of step input response on pneumatic proportional derivative controller with the concept of transfer functions. The prediction of step input response on pneumatic proportional derivative controller was examined using the concept of transfer function. A model equation was also developed to give account of the response of on pneumatic proportional derivative controller. The equation was …

Thermodynamic Explanation on Surface-Driven Capillary Flow of Working Liquids in the Microfluidic Devices Fabricated by Polymers
Abstract: In this experimental work, total 100 individual microfluidic devices are fabricated by polymers using author’s own hands-on completely. A set of straight microchannels, gradual expansion microchannels, sudden expansion microchannels and sudden contraction microchannels are fabricated by SU-8 using the maskless lithography and indirect bonding technique. Another set of straight microchannels, gradual expansion microchannels, sudden expansion microchannels and sudden contraction microchannels are fabricated by PMMA using the maskless lithography, hot embossing …
