Study of Dynamic Mechanical and Thermal Properties of Poly(Ether Ether Ketone) Carbon Nanotubes
Abstract: The effect of polyetherimide (PEI) as a compatibilizing agent on the morphology, thermal, electrical and dynamic-mechanical properties of poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK)/single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) nanocomposites, has been investigated for different CNT loadings. After a pre-processing step based on ball milling and premixing under mechanical treatments in ethanol, the samples were prepared by melt extrusion. A more homogeneous distribution of the CNTs throughout the matrix is found for composites containing …

A Review on the Properties of Polymeric Micelles
Abstract: Lately, polymeric micelles have pulled in a considerable measure of consideration as far as their particular conveyance of hydrophobic payload to the objective site. Polymeric micelles are viewed as more steady than their surfactant partners and can drag out flow times in vivo and their particular gathering in the tumoral tissues. They can viably solubilize little hydrophobic medications in their internal most hydrophobic center while their external hydrophilic shell can …

FABRICATION AND EVALUATION OF VINYL ESTER RESIN BASED HYBRID COMPOSITES
Abstract: Jute is most widely used natural fiber in combination of various polymer because of easy availability, low environment impact, low density, low production cost, satisfactory mechanical properties and usage in wide range of applications. Mechanical properties of fibers are depending upon various factors such as fiber length, fiber orientation, fiber contact etc. In the present study, composite of Jute (J) and Glass fiber (G) have been fabricated using hand lay …

Cellulose: A Natural Polymer on the Earth
Abstract: Cellulose is the substance that makes up most of a plant's cell walls. Since it is made by all plants, it is probably the most abundant organic compound on Earth. Aside from being the primary building material for plants, cellulose has many others uses. According to how it is treated, cellulose can be used to make paper, film, explosives, and plastics, in addition to having many other industrial uses. The …
