Statistical and Artificial Neural Network for the Determination of Thermo-Physical Properties of Fomoditine Drug Using Mixed Hydrotropy
Abstract: The experimental determination of thermo-physical properties of fomoditine drug–mixed hydrotrope concentration mixture is very time consuming as well as tedious process. Any tool helpful in estimation of these properties without experimentation can be of immense utility. In present work, other tools of determination of properties of fomoditine drug–mixed hydrotrope concentration blends were tried. A traditional statistical technique of linear regression (principle of least squares) was used to estimate the specific …

Comparative Study of Molecular Interactions in Binary Liquid Mixtures of 4-Methyl-2-Pentanone with Aniline, N, N-Dimethyl Aniline and Chlorobenzene at 308 K
Abstract: The ultrasonic velocity (u), density (ρ) and viscosity (η) have been restrained for binary mixtures of 4-methyl-2-pentanone with butan-2-one, cyclohexanone and furfuraldehyde at temperature T=308K at changed mole fractions. The experimental data have been used to calculate the acoustical and thermo-dynamical parameters like adiabatic compressibility (βad), free length (Lf), free volume (Vf), internal pressure (πi), acoustical impedance, Gibb’s free energy and their excess volumes in particular, it is seen that …

Studies on mass transfer in annular conduits with coaxially placed entry region vane assembly as turbulence promoter in homogeneous flow
Abstract: Studies on mass transfer in annular conduits with coaxially placed entry region vane assemblies as turbulence promoter in homogeneous flow were presented in this paper. The electrolytes used were equimolal potassium ferricyanide, potassium ferrocyanide and excess sodium hydroxide. Limiting current data had been obtained for the reduction of potassium ferricyanide ion. The mass transfer correlation is based on law of the wall similarity. The variables covered in this study are …
