Recent advances in utilization of wide band gap metal oxides for photocatalysis of organic waste
Abstract: Water cleaning has become a major challenge in the current scenario with huge amounts of industrial wastes being accumulated in the water bodies over the years. Traditional chemical, physical and biological processes for treating wastewater containing textile dye have disadvantages such as high cost, high energy requirement and generates secondary pollution during treatment process. The progressive oxidation processes technology has been appealing growing attention for the decomposition of organic dyes. …

Synthesis & Characterization of Fe3O4 Nanoparticles for Thermal Sensing Application
Abstract: n this work, Synthesis and characterization of magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles by the co-precipitation method has been done. These nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), UV-Visible spectroscopy (UV) and Thermogravimetry analysis (TGA/DSC). SEM image show morphology and porosity of material. The nanoparticles show quasi-spherical morphology with mean size around 37 nm. The XRD and FTIR confirmed the functionalization of the Fe3O4 nanoparticles. …

Investigation of Losses in Nanocrystalline Soft Magnetic Nanomaterials - Review
Abstract: The dependency of power loss on frequency and maximum induction in soft magnetic materials, is considered for loss prediction in nanocrystalline material Fe73,5Cu1Nb3Si13,5B9 in the range , .The proposed formula is derived from considerations on the Poynting theorem and takes into account multi-scale power loss dissipation in soft magnetic materials. It takes the form The knowledge of the scaling exponents in the abovementioned formula allows us to predict power loss …

Study the properties of spin-coated Co-doped ZnO (CZO) thin Film
Abstract: Co doped ZnO (COZ) nanoparticles were prepared by spray pyrolysis technique followed by annealing at three different temperatures. XRD, UV- Vis spectroscopy, Photoluminescence (PL) studies, Scanning electron microscopy (SE), and vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM) studies were made to analyze the structural, optical and magnetic properties. XRD pattern confirmed the improved crystallinity after annealing and the formation of hematite phase. A UV-visible spectrum indicates that the nanoparticles exhibit the blue shifting …

Study of Mechanical Properties of Aluminum Nanocomposites using Auto Ignition Technique
Abstract: Al2O3 - high ZrO2 nanocomposite was synthesized by auto-ignition technique using metal nitrate and citric acid with a ratio of citrate: nitrate equal to 1:1.5. The precursor zirconium oxynitrite was derived from precipitation of zirconium oxycloride followed by dissolution of gel in nitric acid. The thermal decomposition behaviour of the gel was studied in order to study the decomposition behaviour and to determine the crystallization temperature. The effect of calcination …
