Colloidal Gold Nanoparticles for Biomedical Applications
Abstract: The main problem of drug-based therapy is that the introduced compound is not located in the target area and it is widely dispersed. Colloidal nanoparticle-based treatment can benefit the situation. The human body can concentrate inert nanoparticle by passive targeting. The therapeutic delivery system can be promoted using the surface of gold nanoparticle so that it only targets the specific issues by active targeting. In passive targeting colloidal GNPs can …

Nanotechnology: An Antidote for Alzheimer's Disease
Abstract: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a type of dementia that causes problems with memory, thinking and behaviour. Symptoms usually develop slowly and get worse over time, becoming severe enough to interfere with daily tasks. This article describes different stages of AD along with how it is different from other memory loss issues. Every old-age-related memory loss cannot be AD. Nanotechnology is an emerging branch of science which deals with matter at …

Biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using aqueous leaf extract of Muntingia calabura Linn.
Abstract: The present study was focused to synthesis silver nanoparticles using the aqueous leaf extract of Muntingia calabura L. as the reducing agent. The formation of silver nanoparticles was confirmed by colour change from light yellow to dark brownish red, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, FT-IR, X-Ray Diffraction Method (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray microanalysis spectroscopy (EDS). The nanoparticles showed an absorbance at 443nm on UV-Visible spectroscopy. The presence of …
