Extraction of carotenoids from algal biomass
Abstract: Modern society is facing problems in producing reliable renewable energy source. A mixed process of carotenoid extraction and producing biofuels from algal biomass offers an attractive application to promote renewable energy due to its accessible mass production. Algae, a simple aquatic plant, with extraordinary biological features is capable to be used in different ways. Algae is studied as an important feedstock for carotenoids to be used in food industries, cosmetics …

We Are Breaking Environment But Still Don’t Know How To Fix It?
Abstract: We people are breaking our environment by doing pollution, deforestation, bio-war, water crises, land crises and many others. Don’t know how long we people are going to survive on the earth as a parasite. As far as pollution of water and soil is concerned the most important concept will arise that is bioremediation which is unique, sportive, and full of challenges. Laccases are efficient enzymes in applied biology especially in …

Study on the Significance of Water Treatment Using Activated Carbon from Palm Bunch Fiber
Abstract: Activated carbon produced from palm bunch fibers was investigated for water treatment with the aim to improve water quality for industrial consumption and not for humans and animal consumption. Dominantly the activated carbon produced from palm bunch fiber was used for treatment of industrial effluent water and the application is environmental friendly. The high alkali concentration in the activated carbon improved the pH level of the treated water from 4.03 …

Review on Development of Ethosomal Formulation of Ginger
Abstract: Transdermal drug delivery, self-contained, discrete dosage forms which, when applied to the skin, deliver the drug, through the skin at controlled rate to the systemic circulation. Ethosomes, noninvasive delivery carriers that enable drugs to reach deep into the skin layers or the systemic circulation which is made up of phospholipids, ethanol and water. This review article summarizes structure, advantages, disadvantages, composition of ethosomes and mechanism of drug penetration, method of …
