A Study on the Properties of Methyl Esters of Camelina Sativa Oil
Abstract: The depletion of fossil fuel and the pollution created due to the combustion of fossil fuels created an awareness to find an alternative to fossil fuels. In this present work, the focus is on to utilize the camelina sativa seed to produce oil and the same is trans-esterified to biodiesel and in this connection a detailed analysis has been done. Biodiesel is produced by transesterification of neat Camelina Sativa oil. …

Review on Green Corrosion Inhibitors
Abstract: Green corrosion inhibitors have attracted considerable research interest in the recent years due to the increase in environmental awareness and restrictions on traditional corrosion inhibitors due to their intrinsic toxicity. Natural products extracts are a good source of green corrosion inhibitors, because they contain the necessary elements such as O, C, N, and S, that helps in attachment of these compounds on metals or alloys which results in development of …

Comparative studies on the use of palm kernel and coconut oil as biodiesel fuel sources
Abstract: This research work focuses on the production of biodiesel from palm kernel oil and coconut oil. The biodiesel was prepared by trans-esterification of the oils (unsaturated fatty acid) with an alcohol in the presence of a catalyst to give mono alkyl ester. The biodiesel obtained from the two sources was characterized and the properties compared, The API gravity, Specific gravity, Flash point, Carbon residue, Sediment and Water content, sulphur content …

WATER MANAGEMENT IN TEXTILE PROCESSING INDUSTRY
Abstract: With the increasingly important requirement for textile manufacturers to decrease pollution in textile production, the use of enzymes in the chemical processing of fibres and textiles is rapidly gaining wider recognition because of their non-toxic and eco-friendly characteristics. They can be safely used in a wide selection of textile processes such as de-sizing, scouring, bleaching, dyeing and finishing, where the alternatives are very harsh chemicals whose disposal into the environment …
