Analysis of Different Methods used in Reactive Power Compensation: A Review
Abstract: This paper is an overview of the different technologies used in reactive power compensation. Generally, the compensation of reactive power is due to two reasons. The first is to compensate for load and secondly for voltage support. To improve voltage regulation, stability in transmission and distribution system and also to improve power factor Var compensator and Var generators used. Many types of self-commuted generators and various new technologies with lots …

Simulation and Design of Closed Loop Controlled Buck - Boost Converter
Abstract: In this paper we propose to model some practical power electronic converters used in the intermediate power conversion process for e.g. wind, solar, and battery system. The small-signal models are derived from the differential equations. Based on the models, simulation and experimental results is be provided to validate the proposed controllers. A mathematical and simulation model of a practical Buck-Boost converter is developed, it will be employed for closed loop …

REVIEW PAPER ON HYBRID SOLAR WIND RENEWABLE POWER SYSTEMS
Abstract: Solar and wind energy have increased greatly in the past few years. In this study, we proposed a hybrid energy system that combines solar panels with wind turbines to replace traditional sources of electricity, such as thermal and hydropower. Renewable energy is becoming increasingly popular as an unrealistic alternative source of electricity to traditional power generation. Electricity demand is growing every day, and non-renewable energy alone cannot be met. Renewable …

Review of Power Efficient MEMS Microphone for Hearing Aid
Abstract: Among humans the most common disorder is partial hearing loss. Hearing health is more critical than ever in the perspective of an ageing population and increased environmental noise exposure. People want hearing aids that are smaller, highly power-efficient, and have better audio quality. MEMS microphones are really well to meet those needs. The commercially available hearing aids uses an expensive battery as well as the maintenance is high as a …

Power Quality Enhancement in a Distribution Network using allocation of D-STATCOM
Abstract: Modern power clients are getting truly caring with respect to the norm of the power, that will be conveyed to it. Speedy enhancements in current time are upgrading the office quality concerns. As we realize that with time not just the interest of amount of force has expanded yet in addition the nature of the force is worried by customers and the utilities, and the explanation being the rising necessity …
