Application of Schrödinger Wave Equation to Predict Wave Function on the Influence of Displacement
Abstract: This research work contains a review of the Finite-Difference Time-Domain method as applied to the time-dependent Schrödinger wave equation, and the basic update equations are derived in their standard form. A simple absorbing boundary condition was formulated and shown to be effective with narrowband wave functions. The stability criterion was derived from a simple, self explaining perspective and found to give better efficiency than earlier attempts. Conclusively, the idea of …

Photo-Semiconductor Catalysts for Water Splitting
Abstract: Photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting by means of sunlight appear for an eco-friendly and capable technology. Semiconductor electrode materials as the chief components in PEC water splitting cells have vital impacts on the device’s solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency, energy failure related to rapid recombination of photoinduced electron-hole pairs, as well as electrode deprivation, various kinds of electrocatalysts for improving PEC water splitting. Semiconductor oxide photocathode and photoanode (TiO2, Fe2O3, WO3, BiVO4, InGaAsP …

Modeling the Energy Characteristics of Isotropic Harmonic Oscillations using 3D Analysis
Abstract: In this research, a mathematical model was developed to monitor, predict and simulate the energy characteristics of Isotropic Oscillator using 3-dimensional approach. In the model Langrange concept was applied L = , and was expressed as a function of stiffness, k and mass, m, which was modified as . MATLAB R2015 was used to monitor, predict and stimulate the formulated model in relationship with the stiffness varying with mass and …

Low-graded coals to upgrade
Abstract: Coal can be defined as a chemically and physically heterogenous, “combustible”, sedimentary rock consisting of both organic and inorganic materials. Organically, coal consists primarily of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, with lesser amounts of sulphur and nitrogen. Inorganically, coal consists of a range of ash-forming compounds distributed throughout coal. Major types of analysis are proximate analysis, ultimate analysis and calorific value analysis. Heat value or calorific value determines energy content of …

Value Addition of Quartz Gemstones through Gamma Irradiation
Abstract: Color enhancement of gemstones through gamma irradiation is an established technology throughout the world. By value addition, the traders earned manifold prices to these colorless stones as compared to the fresh ones. For the color enhancement of these semi-precious stones, optimized doses of irradiations are required. To get the optical properties of the stones and to investigate the crystal lattice and chemical composition, X-Ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive X-ray …
