Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) Coded MIMO-Constant Envelop Modulation System With IF Sampled 1-Bit ADC
Abstract: MIMO-constant envelop modulation (CEM) is a very power and complexity efficient system, which is introduced as alternative candidate to the currently used MIMO-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). CEM system enables to use high efficient nonlinear power amplifier on the transmitter side and 1 bit (low resolution) analog to digital converter (ADC) on the receiver side. Due to adopting the low resolution at the receiver side a great reduction in hardware …

BER Analysis of Digital Modulation Schemes for OFDM System
Abstract: The growth in the field of communication and the requirement of high-speed and secured data transmission are increasing day by day. Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing modulation technique is a new technique which supports high-speed data transmission. It is a method of signal modulation that divides a high data rate modulating stream into several slowly modulated narrowband close-spaced subcarriers, and in this way, it is less sensitive to frequency-selective fading. The present …

Optimal Structure Topology for 11-Level Multilevel Inverter
Abstract: Unlike inverter, multilevel inverter (MLI) is an inverter which works on high power or voltage. It provides a staircase waveform with lower total harmonic distortion. Working on high-power, high-voltage application, they have become more popular. There are some drawbacks also in MLI that it requires a large number of power devices and composite controllability. This paper presents a noble MLI topology using two types of switches, bidirectional and unidirectional. Bidirectional …

PAPR Reduction in OFDM Using DCT Precoded SLM Technique
Abstract: Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a particular form of multi-carrier modulation. OFDM is a combination of modulation and multiplexing which is robust against the multipath effect, intersymbol interference and high spectral efficiency. However, peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is a major drawback in the system since this leads to the distortion problem in the linear devices such as the power amplifier (PA). Thus, the PAs require a back-off which is …

Application of MATLAB Simulation Processes on Transfer Functions and Model Equations for Pneumatic Force-Balance Transmitter
Abstract: An investigation was conducted to examine the application of MATLAB simulation processes on transfer functions and model equations for pneumatic force-balance transmitter. A mathematical model was developed to demonstrate the relationship between time and pressure as well as displacement in proportional, derivative and integral controllers. The results obtained revealed increase in times as well as increase in displacement for proportional controller, proportional integral controller and proportional derivative controller. MATLAB 2013 …
