Logarithmic Companding using Firefly Algorithm for PAPR Reduction in OFDM System
Abstract: Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a digital transmission method developed to meet the increasing demand for higher data rates in communications which can be used in both wired and wireless environments. However OFDM is handicapped with a major problem of high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), which gives rise to non-linear distortion, inter-symbol interference and out-of-band radiation. Several PAPR reduction techniques have been devised over the last few decades in …

E- Learning
Abstract: The information technology affects the people, the process and the productivity of the organization. It’s a strategic business decision and not a financial decision to be taken the least cost approach. Information Technology acts as a vehicle, to handle the management education. The information technology decision is also influenced by student’s factors. The choice of information technology is made on the basis of the ability of the students in the …

A Genetic Algorithm for Optimization of MSE & Ripples in Linear Phase Low Pass FIR Filter & Also Compare with Cosine Window Techniques
Abstract: Cosine Window Techniques such as Hamming, Hanning etc. are used to simply design the Finite Impulse Response (FIR) digital Filters. Window function is a scientific function which works on Mathematics by calculating the impulse response of best digital filters. Windowing function is mainly conciliation between the reduction of ripples and Mean Square Error (MSE). But in the proposed research work; Genetic Algorithm (GA) reduces more MSE as well as ripples …
