Effect of varying water temperature on concrete properties
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to determine the effects of mixing-water temperature on the compressive strength, workability and water absorption rate of concrete. Locally available materials were used. Compression tests results showed that the 7 days value of 19.52N/mm2 at 35°C was higher than the value of 9.96N/mm2 at 5°C. The 28th day results for compression test also showed similar trend. The workability of the concrete decreased as the …

Effect of magnetic pole direction on the properties of magnetized water concrete
Abstract: This project aimed to study the variations in properties of concrete when magnetized water was being used instead of normal water, and also compare the effect of the magnetic pole on magnetized water concrete. In this research, based on reviewed literature, magnetized water was prepared by filling a glass beaker with water and then placing magnets at the sides of the container for the required number of hours. Sieve analysis …

Effect of Alccofine on Durability Properties of Concrete
Abstract: Alccofine is a mineral admixture use in concrete for production of workable and durable concrete. It is effective in all belongings of concrete in fresh and hardened state. In this study alccofine 1203 used for inspection the characteristics of concrete in aspects of durability. Alccofine 1203 obtained from Ambuja cement plant in the form of fine powder. The percentage of alccofine mixed in concrete as 3-15% in interval of 3% …

Strength & Durability of Concrete with Sand Blasting Residue
Abstract: Sand blasting residue (SBR) is commonly obtained as a by-product from chain manufacturing industries. Although it is a waste material but can be used in the mixing of concrete. The work has been divided into two parts. Part 1 covers preparation of M20concreteby substituting SBR as replacement of sand in different percentage such as 40%, 50%, 60%, 70% & 80%. The w/c ratio is kept as 0.5 with adequate does …

Effect on Strength Properties Concrete Amalgamation of Recycled Reinforced Aggregate -An Experimental Study
Abstract: Concrete is a combination substance which has turn into a universal and essential as its intrinsic in character brought an uprising application. Use of concrete in construction lead to construction of surplus desecrate subsequent to destruction of the variety of structures. The waste generated is enormous and uncontrollable. So, in this present research is to verify the potency of concrete with normal aggregate and recycled aggregate in addition to enlarged …
