Liquid–Liquid Equilibria of Water + Acetic Acid + Ethyl Acetate, Water + Acetic Acid + MIBK, Water + Acetic Acid + Mixed Solvent (Ethyl Acetate + MIBK) and Its Reliability
Abstract: In this work, binodal curves and tie-line liquid-liquid equilibria experimental data were obtained for the ternary systems water + acetic acid + ethyl acetate, water + acetic acid + methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) and water + acetic acid + mixed solvent (ethyl acetate + MIBK) at 293.15 K and atmospheric pressure by cloud-point titration method. Binodal curves, tie-line data, distribution coefficient and separation factor data were determined for these systems. …

Comparison of Liquefied Natural Gas Plant Unit Failure
Abstract: The comparison of some liquefied natural gas plant unit failure was investigated and the unit considered in terms of identification of the component failures. The units are Reboiler, Stripper, Cooling, Compressor, Acid Dehydration, Heat Transfer, Expander and Liquefaction units. The components of interest were monitored in terms of their performance as well as the failure rate of heat transfer unit > cooling unit > acid dehydration unit > stripper unit …

Membrane Distillation: An Emerging Technology
Abstract: Membrane distillation is a process that utilizes both temperature and pressure difference which results in the 100% theoretical separation of non-volatiles though the distillation is the very old form of purifying water this is the modified form of distillation that uses the membrane for better separation and it is also a highly effective one which can replace the conventional methods if it is exploited properly. This article aimed to develop …

Nanofiltration a chemical separation technique
Abstract: Nanofiltration innovation has made considerable progress since its first commencement in the last part of the 1980s. The essential diaries detailing articles on nanofiltration are the Journal of Membrane Science, Desalination and Separation and Purification Technology. There has been a clear development in the space of natural dissolvable nanofiltration, drug, and organic applications, plan and financial aspects of nanofiltration cycles, and survey articles.Nanofiltration (NF) with benefits of high productivity and …

Purification of Pectinase Derived from Peels of Mango, Papaya, and Banana using Aspergillus Niger
Abstract: Its name comes from the Greek word pectin, which means "congealed and curdled." Heneri Bracannot was the first to isolate and describe it in 1825. Pectin, a multifunctional constituent of cell wall is the high value functional food ingredient widely used as gelling agent and as stabilizer. Fruits contain pectin, a fibre. It's frequently used in food and cooking as a thickening. It's used to create medicine on occasion. Pectin …
