Characterization of the Impact Strength in Cryogenic Treatment of TIG Welded Nickel-based Superalloy
Abstract: The TIG welding of the IN617 heat and oxidation resistant has been precisely controlled through welding parameters, while γ'-Ni3(Al, Ti) phases predominantly controlled solution strengthening, and precipitation strengthening and carbides in γ matrix, as well as γ' precipitate’s shearing mechanism is prominent to enhance strength of superalloys. The high hardness has been preserved owing to strengthening major elements such as Cr, Co, and Mo etc., and the well coherency maintain …

Demonstration of Adsorbent Morphology of Different Particle Size for Petroleum Hydrocarbon Treatment in Packed Bed
Abstract: The choice of plantain stem, banana stem and palm oil fibre prepared for treatment of water medium polluted with petroleum hydrocarbon was monitored in a packed bed unit. The raw materials (plantain and banana stem as well as palm oil fibre) were room and sun dried and processed to obtained different particle size of 50, 150 µm and 200 µm. The raw material after processed was used as an adsorbent …

Mechanical Characteristics of Polypropylene Composites Reinforced with Hybrid Fibers: Fabrication and Evaluation
Abstract: The goal of current research is to replace synthetic materials with natural, biodegradable, and renewable ones. A lot of study is being done on natural fiber composites because of its unique properties and environmental friendliness. Natural fibers are advantageous since they are easily accessible, manageable, and biodegradable. The goal of the current study is to evaluate the changes in the mechanical properties of polypropylene reinforced with chopped pineapple leaf and …

Thermogravimetic Study Of Chrysodine Dye Type Bridge Containing Bis (8-quinolinol)s Ligands and Their Coordination Polymers
Abstract: Our thermogravimetric analysis state that the degradation in chrysodine dye type bridge containing bis (8-quinolinol)s metal coordination polymers was initiated at almost the same temperature near about 25-500 C(T0). The remarkable difference is observed in the mode of thermal degradation of the parent ligand and its coordination polymer. The unchelated bis(8-quinolinol) ligand and coordination polymers begin to decompose almost at the same temperature but in the polymer chelates this decomposition …

Sorption of Pb (II), Cd(II) and Zn(II) by synthesized nanocrystalline sodium potassium flurophlogopite (FGP)
Abstract: We have successfully synthesized nanocrystalline sodium potassium fluorophlogopite (FGP) crystals with controlled sizes from ≈ 25 nm to 100nm, using an organic tetrapropylammonium (TPA) hydroxide. We have been successfully synthesized material depends on the source of silicate and hydrothermal crystallization conditions. The synthesized materials were characterized by using different techniques such as X-ray diffraction, Energy Dispersive Analysis, Scanning Electron Microscope, Transmission Electron Microscopy and FTIR analysis. The use of sodium …
