Short Review on the Classification of Micromixers
Abstract: Miniaturisation of micron-scale devices produces advantages in analytical chemistry and life science. Micromixers are being used in modern microfluidic systems to facilitate the laboratory-scale operation in small microchips towards the production of microfluidic laboratory-on-a-chip systems for global-market. Polymers are proved to be suitable materials for the fabrication of micromixers. Passive micromixers have the advantage of simple designs and low cost of fabrication. Micromixers have the applications in analytical chemistry and …

Fibre reinforced polymers for compressed hydrogen storage vessels: An overview
Abstract: Fibre reinforced plastics (FRPs) represent an interesting class of composite materials that is gaining importance in the fabrication of various mechanical components as a substitute for metals and alloys, particularly lightweight and high strength pressure vessels for compressed gas storage. They are an important component of hydrogen energy system for vehicular applications, where compact and safe on-board storage of hydrogen gas as a fuel at high pressures of up to …

Thermal Analysis of I.C. Engine Poppet Valve Using FEM: A Review
Abstract: Abstract: Inlet and outlet valves in I.C. Engines are referred to as poppet valves. These valves are operated by the valve mechanism. When these valves are uncovered to the heat thermal stresses are evolved in order that thermal evaluation is very important to predicting and stopping failures in valves. The foremost position of the valve train is to ensure the gases change manner for all the engine speeds. The valve …

A Systematic study on Clayey Soil fortified with Polyester (Recron -3S) Fibres
Abstract: A technique to improve the engineering characteristics of soil is called as soil fortification/reinforcement. The former use of natural fibers to reinforce or fortify soil is a conventional idea. Consequently, randomly distribution of fiber has recently attracted increasing attention in geotechnical engineering for the second time to reinforced soils. The aim of this project is to identify a synthetic fiber to enhance the shear strength and bearing capacity of a …
