A Study of Salinity of ground water in some semi-arid tracts in Vadagam Taluka, Banaskantha District of Gujarat
Abstract: Because of the insufficiency of water resources and serious environment, it becomes much more mergence to develop the water saving agriculture The northern part of Gujarat state may be classified as a semi-arid region because most of the area receiving low rainfall. About fifty samples of ground water were collected from different tracts in Vadagam regions during pre-monsoon 2018, post-monsoon 2018 and pre-monsoon 2019 and tested for their EC and …

Application of a graphene oxide for determination of Cadmium, Lead, Copper and Zinc ions at trace level in personal Care Products using Solid Phase Extraction
Abstract: A novel and simple procedure Solid Phase µ-extraction was successfully used as a sample preparation method for the pre concentration and determination of Cd, Pb, Cu, and Zn in different personal care products samples. In the first screening, a five variables were selected with low (-) and high level (+) and were inspected by Plackett–Burman. In order to further optimization, a central 23 +star orthogonal composite design (CCD) was applied …

POLYCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS (PAHs) AND HEAVY METALS IN SELECTED DRIED SEA FOODS FROM PORTHARCOURT CITY NIGERIA
Abstract: Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHS) and heavy metals constitute environmental recalcitrant pollutants which are toxic and carcinogenic. The levels of PAHs and heavy metals (As, Hg, V, Zn, Pb, and Cr) in dried sea foods: prawn (Panaeus monodon), water snail (Bithynia tentaculata), periwinkle (Littorina littorea), conch (Lobatus gallus) and Oyester (Ostrea edulis) were determined. PAHs were determined using GC/FID and the heavy metals were determined using AAS. Total PAHs ranged from …

Review on Preparation and Application Fields of Triazole &Tetrazole Derivatives
Abstract: This review described triazole and tetrazole (five-ring), these are heterocyclic aromatic five-ring compounds consisting of (two carbon atoms and three nitrogen atoms in triazole) while (four nitrogen atoms with one carbon atom in terazole), and they exist in three different formulas with different locations of heterogeneous atoms in the ring. These compounds were distinguished by a high efficiency towards microorganisms and microbes and have wide importance in the field of …

PROPERTIES OF AN ALGERIAN DATE SYRUP ICE CREAM
Abstract: - This present work aimed to develop an ice cream with an Algerian date syrup with a view to enriching antioxidants and to substitute the sugar present in high concentration (70%). First, the physicochemical parameters of the date syrup as well as its composition of antioxidants (total phenolic compounds, flavonoids, tannins) were studied and the antioxidant and antiradical activities were evaluated. Second, date syrup was incorporated in ice cream at …

Analytical Profiling of Processed Printer Inks on Papers for Inorganic Trace Elements by Energy Dispersive X-Ray Microanalysis
Abstract: For the forensic examination of printed documents, an attempt has been made to determine the elemental composition of inks of ink jet printer taken from sample documents using nondestructive technique of Scanning Electron Microscope-Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectrometry and in order to generate the analytical profiling of printed inks for inorganic trace elements leading to the differentiation of printers. All the four primary inks used in printers are the matrix of …

Mechanical properties of Poly vinyl alcohol and Nitrocellulose blends.
Abstract: Mechanical properties of polyvinyl alcohol and nitrocellulose blends has been determined successfully via tensile strength, Young’s modulus, percentage elongation and impact strength. The blends of the respective polymers are in the ratio PVA:NC (90:10,80:20,60:40,50:0,40:60,10:90). There are good results from different blend ratios which include tensile strength PVA: NC 90:10 (16.98MPa) Young’s modulus 60:40 (0.71MPa). The highest percentage elongation was observed for 80:20 at 160.09%. The most elastic blend ration was …
