CyberSentinel: A Proposed Hybrid AI Framework for Real-Time Cyber Threat Intelligence
Abstract: Modern cyberattacks have grown far more sophisticated, frequent, and fast-moving than the signature-based intrusion detection systems many organizations still rely on. This paper proposes CyberSentinel, a hybrid artificial intelligence framework for real-time cyber threat intelligence (CTI) that combines three complementary techniques into a single detection pipeline: a Convolutional Neural Network–Long Short-Term Memory (CNN-LSTM) module for network traffic anomaly detection, a Random Forest ensemble for structured log classification, and a transformer-based …

Autonomous Multi-Agent Sensor Network for Distributed Environmental Instrumentation
Abstract: Environmental monitoring requires intelligent, scalable, and autonomous instrumentation systems capable of continuously sensing, processing, and communicating heterogeneous data under dynamic conditions. This study proposes an Autonomous Multi-Agent Sensor Network for Distributed Environmental Instrumentation, integrating distributed sensor nodes, edge computing, multi-agent collaboration, adaptive data fusion, and intelligent decision-making to achieve reliable real-time monitoring of environmental parameters. Each sensor agent autonomously performs local sensing, anomaly detection, energy-aware communication, and cooperative information exchange …

Antenna and Beam-Control Optimization of RIS-Assisted 6G Links: Phase Resolution, Directivity and Energy Efficiency
Abstract: This paper presents an antenna-oriented investigation of reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted sixth- generation (6G) wireless links, emphasizing practical design factors beyond conventional RIS versus non-RIS bit-error-rate comparisons. Four parameters are evaluated: phase-shifter resolution, reflected-beam directivity, aperture-dependent spectral efficiency, and controller-aware energy efficiency. A Rayleigh-fading binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) link is used for reliability analysis, while the RIS is modeled as a uniformly spaced reflective aperture through its array factor. The …

Machine Learning-Based Channel Estimation for 5G NR Systems: A Comprehensive Review of TDL/CDL Channel Models and CNN Architectures
Abstract: Accurate channel estimation is a fundamental requirement for reliable communications in fifth-generation New Radio (5G NR) systems, where highly dynamic propagation environments impose severe challenges on conventional pilot-based methods. This study provides a thorough analysis of channel estimate methods for 5G NR, including everything from contemporary deep learning (DL) techniques based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to traditional Least Squares (LS) and Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) estimators. Our analysis …
