Abstract: In this paper, basically, we have investigated about different optical properties for five-ring hexagonal photonic crystal fiber. Silica glass as material for PCF is taken and different parameters analyzed like, Effective refractive index, confinement loss and Waveguide dispersion. Properties are analyzed by varying the key design parameters like air hole diameter and lattice pitch. The comparative study of the results for different design parameters is analyzed.
