Abstract: The present paper reports the development of excellent corrosion resistant Sn–Ni alloy coatings from a new pyrophosphate bath by magneto-electrodeposition (MED) approach. First part reports optimization of conditions for deposition of Sn–Ni coatings on mild steel by conventional electrodeposition (ED) method and their characterization.
