Abstract: Synthesis of nanoparticles using plant extracts is an emerging as a new and effective method that avoids the involvement of toxic chemicals. In this study AgNPs synthesized using Calpurnia aurea leaf extracts were evaluated for their antibacterial activity. The green synthesized AgNPs were characterized using analytical instruments like UV–visible, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR).
