Abstract: The prevention of corrosion in steel materials in acidic conditions is summarized in this paper. There are many accelerated corrosion preventives for acidic solutions available. High temperatures, lowgrade steels, and HCl solutions are the main focus points. The creation of corrosion inhibitor compositions which combine corrosion inhibitors with surfactants, solvents, and expressions to increase the potency of single compounds at extreme temperatures is another focus of this analysis.
