Abstract: We have successfully synthesized nanocrystalline sodium potassium fluorophlogopite (FGP) crystals with controlled sizes from ≈ 25 nm to 100nm, using an organic tetrapropylammonium (TPA) hydroxide. We have been successfully synthesized material depends on the source of silicate and hydrothermal crystallization conditions.
