Abstract: In this paper, the window air conditioner assembly is analyzed using design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) tool. Dewhurst and Boothroyd method is used to perform the analysis. The CAD models are done using CREO PARAMETRIC 2.0. DFMA tool provides the effective cost analysis for the product before manufacturing begins.
