Abstract: Background: A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of psycho-education program on family caregivers’ attitude of patients with BAD at El-Tigani El-Mahi Psychiatric Teaching Hospital, Sudan. It exhibited excellent benefits when administered to those with bipolar affective disorders, reducing both re-hospitalization rates and number of days a person spends in the hospital.
