  Abstract: Schiff reaction is one of the versatile reaction widely used in organic synthesis focused on the discovery & development of isoniazide Schiff base derivative N’(3,4-Dihydroxy benzylidene isonicotinohydrazide) have been reported in presence of 0.01g molecular iodine catalyst stirring give fast product & good yield.
