Abstract: In this article a novel method of obtaining reaction kinetic constants is described. It consists of measuring both concentration and temperature dynamics in a batch reactor supplied with a constant heat input rate. A system of esterification reaction between acetic acid and methanol in the presence of a cationic resin catalyst is studied.
